Editorial policy
Radiant Film Spotlight aims to make close looking clear and fair. We distinguish what can be seen in an image from what we infer, and we correct errors when readers bring specific evidence to our attention.
Accuracy and interpretation
We check names, dates, credits and other factual details against suitable sources where available. Visual analysis is often interpretive, so we explain the features behind a reading and avoid presenting an opinion as settled fact. If a detail cannot be verified, we leave it out or make the uncertainty plain.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to the publication’s subject, not to promise favourable attention. A partner cannot approve, suppress or rewrite independent editorial coverage.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, use the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review specific, useful correction requests and amend confirmed errors clearly; interpretive disagreement may not require a factual correction.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or otherwise agreed partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations on the site are AI-generated; they are not presented as original film posters or documentary evidence.
Look at the poster before the film
A poster is both an image and an invitation. We look closely at the choices that shape that invitation, without treating a design as a promise about the film itself.
